Beebread is pollen gathered by honeybees, mixed with honey and secretion of the bees’ salivary glands, stored in honeycombs cells and subjected to lactic acid fermentation in anaerobic conditions in beehives. Beebread’s nutritive, prophylactic and curative values are much higher than in pollen due to its richer composition, preservation processes and high assimilability.
